On Saturday, 16 August at 5:00 p.m., Father Materne celebrated Mass for the Assumption.
We would like to thank the many faithful who, during this holiday season, came to join us, as their presence contributes greatly to the spiritual life of our chapel.
A big thank you also to Father Materne for his celebrations in this place that is so dear to us !

After Epiphany in January and Saint Marcouf’s Day in May, this was the third Mass of the year to be celebrated in our chapel.
For the fourth and final service of the year, we invite you to join us on 2 November for the Mass for the Dead, which will be celebrated at 4 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there.

“Words of welcome to the Chapelle de Saint-Maclou ».

It is always comforting when our chapel regains its spirituality, when the voice of a priest resounds in the choir, when in the nave, the song of the faithful rises, when the atmosphere ends up warming up with the presence of all…
It was 4:00 p.m., when the bells announced the start of the service.
Despite a winter temperature, around the nativity scene, the faithful responded present for this service which celebrated the arrival of the three wise men.
During the ceremony, Father Materne blessed the nativity scene, and then, to the sound of the harmonium, Christmas carols were sung in unison.

Thank you to the faithful who came, thank you to Régine for preparing and organizing the chapel for this ceremony, thank you to Maryline for holding the harmonium and thank you to Father Materne for celebrating this beautiful service.
