Parish activities at the Chapel of Saint Maclou!
- SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2024 – MASS FOR THE DEAD
IN THE CHAPEL OF SAINT-MACLOU,
THIS MASS WAS THE FOURTH OFFICE OF THE YEAR 2024 !At the chapel of Saint-Maclou, on Saturday, November 2, Father Materne celebrated a beautiful mass that was dedicated on this special day to all the deceased.
On this day of commemoration, many faithful were present for this memorial service.
On this day of commemoration, all together, having a thought for those who have left is a way of knowing that they are always present in the depths of our hearts, of speaking of their existence in our conversations and of keeping their memory alive by passing it on to our children and grandchildren.
Thank you to Father Materne for accompanying us on this day in our memories, for giving us the opportunity to meet here, to keep the spirituality of this chapel alive through the services that he comes to celebrate.
Thus, at the invitation of Father Materne, the faithful were able to place a candle on the altar symbolizing the presence of those who have left.
It was an intense moment, of great emotion and communion.
Thank you to all those who came, we hope that our chapel was welcoming, as our association strives to watch over its old stones, to be concerned about its well-being; the heritage that it represents can prove very fragile, if we let time take hold of it!Thank you all.
